15 x 7 wheels on late e-body
« on: April 18, 2003 - 12:00:41 PM »
Has anyone had any experience with 15x7 wheels on a 73 e-body ? They were not available from the facory after 71 on e-bods. Can i expect rubbing on the fronts when making turns ?

Thanks AustinChallenger. Btw i went to your webpage and one of your engine photos answered my alternator belt question. Whoever put the engine in my 73 has the belt going from the crank pulley to the alt instead of including the fan pulley in the route. I'll be junkyarding it monday for the correct alt. brackets and buying a new belt. I was stumped as to why it would squeal whenever i gave more than a certain amount of gas to the engine. I'll bet the wrong fan is on too as it's too big for the shroud but doesn't extend far enough to chew it up (the shroud). In some of your photos your Challenger looks JY3 (honey gold i think) and others it looks Top Banana but they all look good. Is Blaze Yellow somewhere in between ? Anyhoo countless thanx for the solution to my belt problem.
