Found a 71 Challenger R/T

I finally looked at the VIN of a Challenger that was by me for at least 10 years. The guy wont sell. It has a 340 4 speed. Black Interior and exterior. The VIN is JS23H1B******. Its one of 313.

Since he won't sell, I can only hope it isn't just sitting in a field somewhere. I HATE those kind of stories.  :crying:

I would say it has 7-10 years left before it is 100% useless, it will probly rot to nothing. Right now it will need a full body and everything but the interior restored. The guy said its his friends and its an AAR Challenger. He is restoring it for his friend. I think he is full of it but it still is a nice car.

I know what you mean. I was driving today and found a 71 Cuda in so so shape and stoped to ask if it was for sale. The old man told me that it was not for sale, in no uncertain terms  :swear:, so I left knowing that it would be compleatly gone in 5 years. I don't know why these guys will not either fix these cars or sale them or at the very least get them out of the open where they just continue to rot. This car must have been setting in the same place for 10 years and depending on the fender tag could have been worth more than the $30k mobile home it was beside.
