B&M transpak shift kits

Hi all!! I just picked up a 3 in 1 shift kit for $150 bucks. The first one is heavy duty, the second is High performance street, and the third is competition. I am thinking of going with the high perf street one. Has anyone ever used the competition one and if so which do you recomend.

mostly cruising, but i want it to shift hard and firm

I would have to do some checking on that . If you can e-mail the pages of the instructions where it talks about the competition part I could tell you.

I do not see a competition setting for a B&M Transpack :dunno:

I would set it up like TACman says, HI-PO Street.  IF you use tha Competition level on the street, it will shift HARD all the time, even just lightly cruising around.   The Hi-po street, still uses the throttle pressure lever and that determines how hard to shift. When lightly driving , it will still shift firm. When the throttle is nailed, it will shift HARD.

The Competition level, has you remove the govenor springs and throttle pressure rod, (kick-down) . It will also stay in any gear like a manual valve body. You wont like it and you'll need a neck brace for yourself and your passengers.

Get a Trans-Go TF2 kit and be done.  :thumbsup:
