I need Help!
« on: November 05, 2006 - 01:09:08 PM »
Hello everyone!
Im looking for some info on the 72-74 barracuda and cuda! Im looking for pictures of survivor cars, and also detailed pictures...factory paint markings, over spray on parts. Im working with some guys on a book for Judging cars on a national level. The 70-71's are done so we are moving on the the 72-74. Also Im looking for things that set the 72-74s apart from the others, Like part changes. If anyone could help me in the process would be great! And yes I do have a few mopars my self. If you have any pictures please send them...

Thanks,
The Judge

Welcome to cuda-challenger.com judge!  Great place here!!  I'm sure all the members will help out all they can.  I guess you just need to ask for what you need and someone usually has the answer.  Here's a pic of my 73 but its no survivor.  The 72 and 73 were similar with few changes, but a couple I cna think of would be: 1) larger bumper guards 2) In 73 the engines were balanced externally. In 74 the engine went to the 360 and the seatbelts were redesigned.  I'm sure there's more but pretty standard from there on out.  Hope you enjoy the site!!

Welcome to the forum!  I wish I could help, but I've got a Challenger...and far from a survivor! :roflsmiley:  There are a bunch of folks on the board who are purists about their cars who will be able to help you out with pics. I'm sure they'll chime in shortly.
