Yes, more than a bit disappointing. Don't know what went on? But one gal should not be expected to wait on 25+ people. Just the drink orders alone would keep a gal pretty busy. And then to have all the menu orders taken to the kitchen at one time. I can imagine what that kitchen looked like trying to get it all together and out to the dining room. Perhaps someone called off or just didn't show up. I felt sorry for the gal waiting on us, she did about all she could do, sure wasn't her fault, but I also was a bit embarrased for our group having to wait. ? It sure gave enough time to talk and have fun I guess. The last couple years our group has had at least two waitresses, I guess I should call Danny and asked what happened. Nice place, good food, reasonable prices,...............but I wouldn't want to go through that kind of situation again. Sorry guys  :dunno: - Jim

no need to apologize Jim, like you said it gave us more time yo talk and visit.  I felt sorry for the waitress too, and all the oreders in the kitchen at the same time must have been a complete overload.

HEY,  I resemble that remark!

Jim, It did seem to take a long time. But if we hadn't been there we probably would have been hanging out in the hotel parking lot, so it's cool.  I also felt sorry for the waitress, but she should have done OK in tips.

I didn't understand the logic behind that one waitress thing either.  Especially when the other waitress was sitting in the next room folding napkins all night.  Poor Cara, she worked her butt off but we all had a good time regardless...

Maybe next year we can all caravan through a McDonald's Drive-Thru.  That would drive them crazy...lol

:roflsmiley: Ed, that would be a super sized traffic jam for sure, but I'm like at least one other member here, hate the place, I'll pass thank you.

I think Cara did a good job given the situation. At least she had a good attitude about the large work load. I would have been  :scared:  :scared:  :scared:  I can only hope someone called in sick or something. I believe we had 3 waitress's last year. I know the dinner didn't take 3 hours, but as Inot2old said, we would have been hanging out anyway.

Jim, no need to apologize!!!!!!!  Who could complain about anything, especailly because waiting a tiny bit longer for our meal allowed us to spend more time with great friends.  Who could ask for more??????
