Thanks for the Trip
« on: July 11, 2006 - 12:05:28 AM »
I would like to thank everyone for the great trip i had to carlisle this year!  it was my first, but definitely not my last!  the amount of cars there was almost unbelieveable.  i never really even had time to hit up the swap area and i know i didnt see all the cars.  but ive seen my fair share of e & b bods over the years.  definitely what made the trip special for me was meeting all my friends that ive known through this board and some that i can now call friends because of carlisle.  seeing what this board has become, what it has done for people, and what it means to everyone makes me very proud.  i look forward to meeting up with all of you again next year, and hopefully some new faces as well!  i wish i couldve stayed longer saturday night.  i regret that i had to say such quick goodbyes without chatting longer.  i wanted to speak with everyone but time wasnt on my side.  next year ill be much more talkative.

oh and a special thanks to April and Joe for transporting my carless butt to and from the show!  woulda been hard to enjoy without that.  im jealous.  your 340 feels faster and sounds better than my 440!

Ross, I'm sooo glad you were able to make it out this year.  You were definately pretty high up there on my "best things about Carlisle 2006" list!

Ross, it was good meeting you, and all the other people I met this year.  It was good seeing the few people that i met last year also, and getting to do Grandpas this year.  Sorry I didn't get to spend more time in the tent and meet everyone there.  It was really a great time.

I could have sworn I replied to this thread but I guess I was wrong.  It was great to meet you Ross and it was great carting you around!  Not a problem at all.   I sure hope to see you at Carlisle again next year!
