Next year I'm thinking about staying for alittle while on Sunday just to check out some of the activities . . . made my drive in 8 hours and 20 minutes both ways even though the expressway closed on me in Toledo, Ohio and dumped me into the city with little guidance.   I could still be home by midnight if I left by 3:00.   :clueless:

Yeah, I tried that 4C. My plan last year and this year was to leave no later than 1PM. Well, last year I stayed until 4:30 or so talking to some people I met and this year I ran into that could-be-maybe-possibly Landy 70 Charger and an empty building T so I didn't leave until after 3 PM. There isn't much happening on Sunday other than awards but sometimes you can catch good deals from the swappers since they don't want to have to load anything left on the truck/trailer.

I stayed til about 2:30 on Sunday, but most people had already left.  Most of the vendors were packed up when I left.  My buddies were waiting til 4:30 for the car giveaway, but i couln't find my tickets, so I just left.  I also walked by the CC.com tent around noon Sunday, not much happening.

Bill,

Seriously, I have never been there on a Sunday. Is it worth it or not? OK, I'm not a parts/car seeker at this point, but are there many show cars left?  Thanks.

Mostly the winners... they line up for a parade lap and a drive-by awards ceremony. All of the specialty stuff is still there (like building T) also but I'd say about 1/2 or more of the show cars are gone. A lot of the vendors pack up Saturday night or early Sunday but the ones that are left will usually give you good deals.

I guess Sunday was to late to visit the c-c tent!  I spent sat walking the swap meet and some of the cars before my wonderful children decided they had enough.  I went by the tent early sun and no one home?  I didn't get home until tues afternoon.  We went to hershey pk on mon.
I'd say that sun is good if you want a relaxed atmosphere.  There were hardly any people there made looking at the cars in the buildings easy and pictures were easier also.  Vendors usually don't want to take it home so good deals are available.  just my  :2cents:

Tom

Maybe next year I'll make it for fri+sat at the tent!
