but seriously very cool pic with the skyline in the back   :clapping: :woo: (It almost looks like a painting)

Don't have photoshop, and I'm not willing to pay $60 bucks for it.

First of all... while it might seem like a good camera... it just doesn't have the clarity of ones like Goody's or mine.  That makes a big difference.  Mine also comes with different lenses and such, to get different styles of pictures.  If you want to read some good articles on picture taking... start here, this is how I take some of my better pictures.

http://www.popularhotrodding.com/features/0506phr_get_your_car_phr/

http://moparmusclemagazine.com/howto/11678/

Here are some examples of two camera, both 3.2 MP, but different qualities.

Here is my sisters pos Vivitar 3.3 MP set to maximum.

Here is my old Sony P72 set on 3.2 mp.

I can tell a difference in pictures, the first one has some diffusion to it, while the second one is more crisp.  What good is a tri-pod without a nice camera.

I was lucky enough to get my car in a magazine, an ad sales dude dug it and his editor/publisher dug it more.
His photographer insisted on shooting it at the crack of dawn. Note the shadows directly to one side of the car in each shot.
The sun had only hit the car for a couple minutes, and he went off on it. Color has never been brighter. :2cents:

I do still think that the results were quite nice for what Ghost has, but I agree that camera quality is often independent of megapixels. The price of quality still tends to go up exponentially in the digital world (the equivalents of my 35mm bodies go for hi-3 to lo-4 figures, while I paid $80 on eBay for my third), and most people don't want to lay out that much cash unless they're pros or extremely serious amateurs.

When I want REAL results, I haul out the Shen-Hao :

Now who told you, you have to pay for it?  :naughty:

I'm running just a low-end Kodak C340 (340  :picture: :naughty: :burnout: :bigshades:) camera. it was 180? or so, i got a 1gb card for it, for about $45. Nothing fancy, i think its 5.0 megapixels

My internet service provider did, after they caught me downloading a couple songs.

And, in all honesty, I really can't justify spending alot of money on a better camera, just to take better pictures.  Even the tripod was less than $20.  I'm happy with what I got now.

Fair enough Ghost, that money can be spent else where (Barracuda).
Just keep in mind that you pay for what you get and with better equipment comes better photos.

Same here, I got Photochop CS2 and Microsoft Digital Image Suite.  Also a nice Sony 3.2 MP camera like the one I used above go for under $100 now a days.
