Sure, but you will need to find out if the seam was bondo'd or leaded when you take it off. If it's bondo'd, I recommend that you replace those areas with lead because thicker amounts of bondo there could eventually crack due to body torsional movement. Another thing that I have experienced in the past because I re bondo'd the sail area, is that it would stand out even after doing body work. Because it was thicker in one small area at the seam, temperature differences of how bondo and metal react would have it expand at a faster rate than the metal causing it to look bulged right along the seam. My car was black, so it was very noticable besides.
