Ouchhhhh....$$$$$$$
« on: July 28, 2006 - 07:11:31 PM »
 :eek2:

Maybe it's because of the frame off restoration
or the finished underside in black power coated

 :dunno: :dunno:

I think those are the same idiots that post ads like this on Motorhead Trader:

For Sale - AZ -   Available from a private owner client-1970 Dodge Challenger RT Clone with 383 magnum engine. The car is blue with a white strip-absolutely gorgeous car with too many features to list here. If your a serious buyer for one of these get in contact-open an account-and wel'l get a work sheet and picture profile out to you, and make purchase arrangements or a pre-paid referral. Nationwide shipping is available.

Hahaha  .... "Open an account"!  What a laugh.  Another ad these guys had wanted a deposit to come and look at the car!

The best part is that of the three cars that I saw them list, one had the same photos that the previous owner used in his eBay auction, one had nighttime photos obviously taken at a cruise night, and one had no photos at all!

I don't think they actually own the cars they are trying to sell, rather, they are trying to act as "brokers"!

As if a Chally R/T CLONE needed (or deserved) a broker!

Why stop at 200K.... if you're going to ask for an unreal price shoot for the moon!  Should have gone with a cool quarter million.

That car or a F40, GT-40, F50, 4 vipers, 2 diabols, or or or.... the list goes on and on!  I know that for 200K there are a lot of cars that I would buy prior to that one.  Don't take that the wrong way, it's just not worth that much to me.  Cool car though!   :swaying:

Typical prospectors.  If they want to make big bucks, they need to go into real estate.

These guys hurt our hobby instead of helping it.Then you get some guy reading the for sale price and he has a car in his barn totally trashed and thinks he can make his retirement on a basket case when he sells it.The problem also is there's a fool born every minute and someone might pay the price, then it really hurts our hobby and us being able to afford any mopar
