BH23NOB Cuda from Hutto, Texas...help !
« on: July 16, 2006 - 05:50:12 AM »
OK GUYS, I have been trying to track down the previous owners of my car BH23NOB104590
1970 Barracuda. This car was purchased last summer for 350.00 and was in storage in Hutto Texas. The previous owner is Steve Miller and the car was sold because of a divorce settlement. Their are a lot of Steve Millers out there.
The title was lost and was re-issued last year. The car has about 68k on it and I believe that is the original mileage due to condition.
The real drag here is the car has no build sheet so I cant get a fender tag. Somewhere in Texas are the original fenders and interior parts....anyone have any clues ?

thanks

The DMV doesn't have that info available? I've seen some pretty good tracking with just the VIN be done.Wish you the best of luck in your search. What does the "N" mean?

Was posted in wrong place by ncodecudaguy in----Cuda, Barracuda...what the difference-------(I think)

My car is a BH23NOB...It has the high po 383 in it with the high po rear end. The front end is sway bar is larger and the hood is a double fake scoop. The logo on the back is barracuda but it could easily be a Cuda. Maybe the air conditioning package makes it a high line car. i wish I had a build sheet for it but no luck.

I live about 15 -20 minutes from Hutto. Do you need something specific?

Thanks everyone for your concern and comments.
Yes, Hutto Texas is Texas Toy Box. That's where I bought the car.
DMV gave me this : Steve Miller , Cleburne Texas.. title lost for 10 years.
So, ten years ( 1996 ) for the car. Still, lots of history and many parts are missing. The build sheet is out there somewhere.

$350 for any Cuda had to be the deal of the year. What kind of shape is she in? Got any pix? I've heard good and bad about that guy at TTB and talked to him a few times on the phone. He seemed ok. Looks like he has sold some nice looking cars in the past

The guy at texas toy box paid 350.00 for it. I paid many much monies for the car.
He put a rebuilt 383 and 727 in the car along with a new gas tank and gas line /fuel filler gage. It runs fine but drives all over the road. Front end is shot. The brakes are fine and the exhaust is new. Need an interior. some floors and a trunk floor....but the car is solid and rust free in the critical areas....anyway I just need the all important build sheet....somewhere their are parts in storage for this car....I just know it.

I can kind of see why people say both good and bad about him.  Car wise and deal wise he is great, but the last time I talked to him (5+ years ago) he wasn't very friendly.

But overall I'd buy from him.  In fact, when I'm in the market for a restored car I'll look at his inventory first.  He's one of the few that isn't trying to get 100k-150k for a non-Hemi car.
