With the prices on fenders right now I would think they are attached with golded bolts!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/70-71-CHALLENGER-NOS-FENDER-DRIVER-1970-1971-HEMI-RARE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33644QQihZ020QQitemZ300004999417QQrdZ1

And that was a reserve not met!

They do attach with simple fender bolts.  When Goodmark does repop them, they will be about $600 ea.  If they are anything like the full quarters, they will be very nice!

I kind of like late sixties Camaros, but everyone owns one.

How exactly do E-body fenders attach to the cars?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Well I can understand your aggravation.  However, you have to ask yourself would I want to wait for a really good product or will I and the rest of the people in the hobby be happy with garbage.  I'd rather wait, but then again I have no need right now so it is easy for me to say that.  Perhaps if I really needed it and was put off time and time again I'd be upset and likely to look elsewhere if I could.
Once rumor of 69 Charger fenders pops up and it keeps getting put off, ask me how I feel about waiting then  :swear: :stomp: .
There is an other option, which is much more acceptable to me - get a good used fender. Unlike Goodmark they were made the USA, if Canada that's close enough, not in China.

If I could find a pair I would but most are rejects by now.Plus I am not going to spend 500 to 600 dollars each for a fender that needs another 400 dollars in body work.

The good used ones are not out there either. I have looked. I found the last one in the country in Arizona last year(or so it seems). I paid $525  for it with shipping and I would gladly pay the same for a driver side one as it was in great shape. :pullinghair:

I was planning on selling my original rust and dent free 70-71 Challenger fenders to free up some space and get some cash but
I have heard the Goodmark Challenger fenders, like their hoods and quarters are made of much thinner guage steel.
The new parts will ding and dent much easier than the originals.
I think I'll just hold onto them for now.

The full quarters that they did for the Challengers were standard thinkness.  I put a mic to them and the some originals and they are the same.  I would bet that the fenders will be the same as the full quarters....  so I would think twice about keeping a ton of money in challenger fenders.

My mistake not thinner guage but SOFTER metal which makes them ding and dent much easier.
Check out the link below.

As far as selling my original fenders the Goodmark stuff is reported to be very nice but NOT perfect.
I have heard people say some of the R/T hoods just don't fit right and the quarters do need some work to get them to line up.
I know the prices on original rust free Challenger quarters and R/T hoods certainly has not gone down since Goodmark released new ones and I would think the fenders will get the same result.
If your restoring a high dollar car that's going to be judged VERY closely an original fender, quarter, and/or hood is the only way to go.

quarters fit great, and are not "Soft"  I have installed several.  Hoods are totally awesome as well . Fit and finish are as close to original as you could ask for . Simply remove from box , scuff , seal and and shoot your color.
That is it. (provided there is not any shipping damage) That would be an issue between you and your provider.. .... open the box BEFORE you pay for the part.,,, if you pre paid,, refuse acceptance, and credit your charge card.
