I have a chance to take as a partial trade towards my Hemi Road Runner a 1969 440 Cuda. The problem is that I can not find any information as to the value of these cars. I do know that the pre 70 Baracudas are nowhere as popular or expensive as the 70 and up Cudas. Here is some general info on the car.

The current owner purchased the car from the original owner. It is an original "M Code" 440 matching numbers motor, transmission and posi rear end. The car has all original body panels and is in very good condition with no rust. It is an automatic with a center console and original and very good interior. It has the build sheet and is in the 440 Cuda registry.

What are your thoughts on the value of this Cuda?

Just from personal experience those M code '69 Darts and Barracuda are the second most valuable A-bodies.  Next to the '68 HEMIs of course

Wow, that M code Barracuda could be worth a hefty price to the right buyers.  They're really unique and rather rare cars, so with it being numbers-matching, it's a valuable ride. (and very sweet, too.)

I can`t remember the production #s on them but it was low , I agree that they would be the second most valuable A bdoys

I used to own a '69 440 Cuda.  My buddy has it now.  While it was fast; it was not as fast as many 440 ebodies I have had.  The stock exhaust is worthless.  It rides horrible with a short wheelbase from all that weight on the front end.  Try to park it in a tight spot.  A 440 is heavy on manual steering.  They are neat cars and the potential really shows in race trim.  It is too rare of a car to alter at this time.  You will be the only one at a car show with a real one.  It is at the top as far as most abodys go.  If you go to sell it; it may not be a fast mover.  I sat on my 68 383 4-speed formula S for quite some time.  In the end it is your choice and your car.  Good Luck on your decision.
