71 cuda frt frame rails and iiner skirts question.

We have a 71 cuda we are doing for a fellow it needs new inner fenders and frame rails on the frt. I have heard that a 71-74 b-body frame rails are the same. Was wondering if anybody has any input into this subject. Thanks Bob

The rails are all interchangable.  If it is a picky restoration then you would need to weld some holes shut in the 72-74 rails.  The inner fenders are all interchangable also.  The 1970 inner fender is different than the others.  The 71 is close to the 1972-1974 with some holes and factory tapped mounting holes being different.  The 1972 - 1974 again is slightly different than the 71.  All will interchange though. I misread your post...sorry.  I thought you were going E to E.  I do know you can interchange with the B but I don't know what years.  From looking at a 66 Coronet parts car here I would guess 71 and newer B might interchange.  I don't have enough knowledge on this to say.  Someone will.
