Need carpet positioning info
« on: August 01, 2006 - 09:25:10 AM »
Where is the rear seam of the forward carpet supposed to overlap the rear carpet in an E-body?  Both of my Cudas got one-piece replacement carpets way back when and I have no point of reference.

I push the front section of the carpet as far forward as possible this puts the seam under the seat in front of the rear seat bolts , I tyr to get the front section to go just up to thebottom of heater box  & cut around the gas pedal & sterring colum , thius should postion the heel pad so it is below the bottom lip of the gas pedal as well

Can someone actually give me a measurement from the back edge of the forward carpet to something known?  I think this carpet is long as I tried putting the leading edge up to the heater box and the heel pad is not under the gas pedal.
