I am currently looking for my Carter Manual to give you that information, but I have yet to find it. As soon as I do I will let you know. You may want to purchase the "Super Tuning and Modifying Carter Carburetors". It is an SA Design book. It has a lot of great information in it that will help you rebuild and tune Carter Carbs.

I found my book, however it does not list that part number. Make sure you are looking at the correct pad and see if it matches the tag that is screwed to the top if it is still there. If you can, throw a picture of it up so we can see it. There are very limited part numbers as far as the Carter 4bbls go. This may give you a little information as to its application. Base part number is 9000 and the last three digits refer to flow rating. For example, 9625 is a 625 CFM AFB carb. Adding 0, 9625 means it was set up for a Chevy style linkage, adding 1, 9626, means it is a 625 for a Chrysler, adding 2, 9627, means it is for Ford; adding 10, 9635, means provision for EGR. The number supplied does not support Carter part number standards. I am sure we will solve this mystery yet.

appears to be a Thermoquad but I dont know what it came from. I had a similar expiereince with a carb I picked up that ended up coming from something like a '82 318., Fortunately there are only a couple of kits that seem to work on all of them.

If I remember correctly, you would want to avoid the Tomco kit. I believe it is due to the accelerator pump they use. You can still purchase a Mopar kit for it. I was able to for mine. If in fact it is a thermoquad, go to http://thermoquads.com/ .
He has a wealth of information on TQs. That TQ could range from 800 to 850 CFM. They also made 1000CFM carbs in 69-71. These were the Competition Series, and as scarce as hens teeth. He can also rebuild it for you and make mods. He is very knowledgeable.
