newb in Baltimore
« on: August 28, 2006 - 10:08:31 PM »
Hi all just got this in March and there's still much to do ( or undo! ). The motor is a 340 bored .60 over 13:1 compression linked to a 727 trans. The previous owner did a fuel cell in the trunk and installed a reverse manual valve body in the tranny. Unfortunatly he also covered the plum crazy paint with NAPA blue!

Welcome to the forum duncz!  Plum crazy would be a more popular color, but that blue doesn't look bad at all.  Do you have a side shot?

Thx guys all your cars look great! I had a 72 challenger back in '91 and had to get rid of it due to a fire. I swapped it for a 74 Charger and was a B-body guy till this year. I watched the prices on E-bodies go thru the roof and never thought I would own one again. Imagine my surprise when I saw this thing in a garage my wife sent me to. She came home from work and said her co-worker's husband was storing a car for somebody and it might be for sale. Its almost complete, my original plans were to enjoy it in the blue for a few years but now that I found out its a billboard car I cant decide what to do. At least Napa blue is easy to find for touch ups!
