I recall you're from Lebanon.

Everything ok ? Hopefully you're not in the south.

Thank you for asking. I am actually in Beirut and we had our good share of bombing. A bridge under construction (???) was bombed and I had 2 newly acquired cars parked nearby (72 firebird and 72 charger) :swear:. They both got some damage but nothing that cannot be fixed.
The Firebird had some damage to the paint and front windshield broken. The Charger, all windows broken, the roof caved in and the boot also caved in near the rear window. You can see in the photo of the firebird the section of the bridge that was knocked down. If they had knocked down a section closer, they would have been totalled out!!
I also had 2 rockets fall 100 feet away from me, but other than a rush of adrenaline :scared:, nothing!
Thanks again for your concern. See attached photos.

Thank you ESGEE. For now, there is a cease fire and we are all trying to go back to normal life.
I have taken my conv out of hiding and will be giving it a fresh paint, and hope that by the time it is almost ready, postal services would have resumed and I can order some needed cosmetics for it.

Cheers

Glad you are still doing OK, Farouk.  Too bad about your cars, but like you said, they can be fixed.  I hope and pray the cease fire will last.

Thank you all for your good votes.
Yes things are settling down, and my car painter is sorting his generator out to be able to start working on my vert, as in his area power may still take quite a while to be restored.
Dave, thank you too for the direction for finding the build sheet. I will go there.
I am not in the service, have been all my life living outside Lebanon, partially retired now and back here for the past 5 years. Now I must say I have been welcomed with a big bang !!!!
The Charger is one of 8 cars I have recently acquired, and will restore it to sell, not to keep. As I am finding good deals here and there, I am buying them, restoring them and selling them and keeping only cars of interest to me. Hopefully this way I may end up owning the cars I like at no, or little investment :money:
By the way friends, when I start the paint job, where do I go to do the post and report?
