I just use 1x2" .125 wall tubing , put a bend in it to match the floor & weld them in place

I use the MP bolt ins, but toss teh bolts and weld them fully. Mancini has them cheap, and they are easy to get in.

I bought a set of the MP bolt in connecters and they will be a direct bolt in for a B body but not an E body. Go with US TOOL sub frame connecters they are weld in and weld to the floor but the best you will find and the price is great at 190. I bought a set but its going to be a few months before I get them in due to some major back problems.

The US Car Tool ones are the best of everything, except install. the seats and carpet have to come out and a lot of cleaning needs to happen to get them in. But definately good peices. And will look factory when done.

1 x 2 or 1 1/2x 2 tube will work well if you are an experenced fabricator. but im guessing your not , or you wouldnt post this. imo i wouldnt bend them to fit the floor, but ratherinstall them so that they make contact at the lowest point of the floor and weld to the floor and the 2 sub frames. adding bends in light tube makes it weaker, especialy if you dont have a mandrel sq tube bender. if you get the ones that require some fabrication be sure to take the time to get everything to fit properly! the ones on my car are welded in , and done half azzed. cutting them out to do it right isnt much of an option.
