    Thought I would FINALLY  register after reading for so long.  I have a relative who is a member already and has a 1970 Challenger R/T 383 under restoration.   Actually the family from my grandfather, uncles, dad and brother and I  have always been Mopar fanatics. Years ago I had a '74 Challenger and we built it into quite the capable street machine. At the time, I started a Mopar car club and was the president.  We let it fizzle out in the late '80s and I officially pulled the plug.Later on mid '90s I took on a resto of a 1970 Duster 340 but gave up after the chassis was complete(talk about being pissed off now)  Our favorite activity was illegal (but fun) street drag racing.  Currently I am carless  :-[  but since my brother& dad  dragged me to Carlisle in '05 I have been bitten by the bug once again.  E-bodies are probably well out of my budget this time, probably leaning towards the '08 Challenger..

    Welcome to the forum Tosho!  There are some pretty good projects that come through our "Cars for Sale".  Right now there's a project car for something like $6K.  Not a bad deal!

    Welcome aboard!!  Carlisle 2005 was great fun!!  Not too hard to get bit by the MOPAR bug there!!   :naughty:   :grinyes:   Hang around here as a lot of cars pass hands here!  Hope you enjoy the site!

    Welcome to the site. Glad to see the bug has got you again. I would look for a project and go from there unless you want to wait on the 2008 Challenger. It would be more fun to restore and build your own dream MOPAR.

           Not in the market "just yet" .  Definitely no more project cars. Been there, done that.  My brothers still in the process of his Challenger.  Cost of resto? Yikes. $600.00 for a correct rim blow that needs resto, $1,000.00 for restored center consoles! I remember seeing them at swaps for $60.00 in good shape. (and thats ALL their worth) Parts cost has driven the project car outta my league.   The E-body stuff  has just gotten carried away too far.  Not even to mention the rare exotic big block stuff or 6 packs.. If the '08 Challengers or 'Cuda prices dont get jacked up at the dealers too bad  I'm in.. I fear prices jacked into the upper 40's, 50's or higher.   My brothers trying to aim me back at another 340 A body as I just love the '70-72 Duster and '71-'72 Demon.  I see for a seriously nice #2 cond in running streetable shape well under 20K.  Thats more like it.  Fun, fast and furious.

    Welcome to the site.  Keep looking they're out there.  I bought mine for 5K and it runs/drives has most major pieces w/it.  Most of the body was clean also.  Something to start w/for sure.  As for A-bod for under 20K I've seen really nice A-bods for 17K and under.  Really nice...  I think the forecast for E-bod remain strong but as more come on the market that NEED to sell you'll see the price fall some.  Maybe not the 440,426,340 cars so much(and of course the verts), as they still command top dollar.  Just my  :2cents:  but I still think there are deals out there for the taking if you follow the leads.

            Yea thats a nice deal.  Could always grab a post '71 E body again. I had the Chally (74) but I tend to like the 72-4 Cuda slightly better.  I see the the SELL prices have climbed on them as well, especially the 340-360 small block Rallye models.  The prices on the '69 RR and '69 Superbee 383 cars have been held in check too. Thankfully they sold tons of them!
