« on: August 26, 2006 - 04:27:00 PM »
Some here might remember that a friend is restoring another friend's aar cuda.My questions are about the chin spoiler's what angle is right or are they supposed to be straight?I have seen photos of them both ways and was asked what is right and I couldn't answer him------hhhheeeelllppp    Also what is the underside of the hood supposed to be painted with,the same as the top? which will be painted with the orginisal black.I saw the car tonight (didnt have my camera)but I will have it next time.Heres a photo from a while ago and it's about ready for its paint now.----the clown

The underside of the 'glass hoods was not painted, but it did receive a lot of overspray.

This should help with the spoilers;

My pleasure! Drinking your beer I mean.  :thumbsup:

If anyone sees this and has the T/A spoiler mounting instructions, please let me know? I have been looking for them for over a decade now.  :faint:

I think I would rather see those than a broadcast sheet for my T/A at this point.........

Barry,

My memory says that the AAR spoilers were dealer-installed, and therefore there was a lot of variation in positioning. Is this correct, or am I hallucinating?

The spoilers were dealer installed, but those are the instructions for that purpose. How well each dealer tech followed the instructions is anyone's guess.  ;)
