? Do the 70-71 E bodies sit higher than the 72-74?

I was just in my shop and my 70 GC sits much higher(I know all the sheet metal is off and drivetrane)but even the rear of the car sits around 3" higher than my chally,were they?

Nah

They are all pretty much the same since you can change the ride height so easily with the torsion bars and rear springs

It always looked to me that the TransAm cars were a little lower but I think that is just the way people set them up

Yes they got an extra leaf in the right rear(or was it left?) for engine torque,all else was the same

Did you count the leaves on the springs?  Are they stock springs?  A Challenger SE that I parted years ago had extra leaves installed on each side when I bought it.    I've also been known to buy Super Stock springs for different cars and use all of the lower leaves on e-bodies to adjust ride height.  Yours may have been "adjusted" by someone like me.  Also my original Heavy Duty e-body springs had 6 on one side and 7 on the other.  My new Heavy Duty Mopar Performance springs, each have the same number but the bottom ones face opposite directions.

 :dunno: i think their the same except the t/a's and the aar's i beleive they have a different height  :clueless:

AAR and T/As had bigger rear tires to clear the exhaust.
