Cuda Shell Pics
« on: September 02, 2006 - 02:03:09 PM »
Spent the last week tearing down my '70 Cuda.  Trunk floor and extensions are rotted,
lower rear quarters are ate through, same with rear bottom of fenders.  Firewall is pinholed
around the brake booster, but other than that it's suprisingly clean.  Factory undercoating
did its job for 36 years. Drivers door looks to be from a '72 Challenger (trim mounting was
different for '70). The rest is original sheet metal.  This is as far as I'm going to tear it down.
A fellow a street over from me has a body shop.   I'm taking it to him to do bodywork and paint
while I do a four month deployment to Iraq starting in October.
