when the boosters were installed & peened over they left approx .100 hanging out which cut through the metering block gasket & held the metering block away from the body causing leakage between the metering block & body , I had to file them down so the metering block would seal , I think this carb was assembled on a fri afternoon before a Long weekend & may have serious issues all through it
 Please return it to Holley & get them to replace it , I have used 5 of the same carb on ther engines with no issues , yours is a LEMON Cody
