I bought a glass polishing kit from Eastwood.  It included a polishing powder and buffer and a wheel.  I haven't tried it yet but I have heard good things about it.  As long as you take your time it should work great.

HHHmmm, never knew a razor blade would take out scratches from a glass surface????? But the buffing kit works great, the biggest thing is to keep it coated with the compound and moving. If you do stop in one place you can make a ripple in the glass.I have used the kit and its perfect,i would use a old peice of glass as a test bed.

It sure does! Give it a try next time, you'll be amazed.

Just tilt it on a 45 degree angle to the glass and softly but firmly "file" away at it.
