Notify me please.
« on: September 28, 2006 - 07:57:44 PM »
I have noticed that I use the "Notify" more and more. Some topics I just want to keep track of for the information that I can get from them yet I really have nothing to add or do not have the knowledge to add anything construtive.

Do others use the "notify" tab or am I just becoming a recluse?

I've never tried that since I have to read them all anyway.  So, how does it work?  Do you get an email when someone posts in that thread?

I very seldom use it but it seems like a good idea now that I think about it.

Hmmm...never used "notify" but I think I will start.

I usually use the "send this topic" button for interesting posts that'll be useful later or don't have time ti reply to at the moment.

That's it ! You get an e-mail telling you with a link that there has been a new posting to that thread. Works great.
