Yeah, those things aren't too common here in the desert but they are starting to show up more. My wife said they have had a couple of cases show up at the hospital recently.

I had one of those too in the door.  Now the paint is starting to bubble on the outside of the door!  :walkaway:

Sunday I went to get in my 95 f250 4x4 powerstroke to take it to Napa, calif to pick up a livestock trailer and when i opened my glove box a dam mouse chewed on my owners manual.I guess they can get in any car.I think I have more mice this year(besides me shooting rattle snakes)it was a VERY wet spring.

The problem is the fact that vermon like to pee the bed ! And their pee-pee is very acidic ! They build a nest and have no qualms about peeing right where they are laying. The pee soaks the nesting materials which holds the urine against the paint/ panel which eats the metal from the inside out ! ( learned this the hard way from a challenger I bought , frame was full of nesting materials, but frame was , , , , spoooood! ) Feild mice are great destroyers of great cars !  :violin:

Cats will get on your car and scratch it - that's what mine seem to do if they get in the garage and they jump from one car up to the next one above it on my lift even.

Mice could probably eat there way through the bubble you are thinking about too.

Maybe a good four post lift would solve your problem with the mice and give you more ammunition with the wife to get one :-) if it makes sense.  Plus on a lift, a guy probably could easily put plugs in and out of the frame holes if he had too for spiders.

Finishing the garage off and insulating it and keeping food out and the doors closed more might help too and glad to say I don't have these problems either.

Cats are not an option, they would die in my shop in the summer from the heat.Plus as stated they would probably make a mess also. The only food i have in my shop is mouse bait.I do have an outside cat that was born on my property with 5 others but he is the only one left and is semi tame,i know he kills many mice but there is far more than he can kill.I just dont know how many he has eaten that had mouse bait in them. :22yikes:
