Buyer Consider Yourself Told!
« on: March 19, 2010 - 12:16:51 AM »
I recently bought some parts off a member here...  It started off good, we made payment arangments and off we went.  About 2 months into this deal It turned out that I would be unable to live up to my agreed upon payment plan.  The seller then said to me pay me when you can.  Well I recently paid off the parts I bought after close to 6 months of paying what I could (Thank God Its Paid Off).

The bottom line is that a fellow member here on c-c.com made me a good deal on parts and was unerstaning when I fell on hard times and I want to say thank you and reconize him for his consideration.

So, Thank you Jason (Stroker/Sledgehammer).

Don

Oh yeah.....  Its on now!

ok, so how about this idea  :thinkerg:  ... since we all can trust one another ...  if we could get a BIG group of CC members together, e.g. 200 people and, based on $40K price, we could each give $200, pool our $ together and buy a new 394 Hemi Challenger! Take turns driving it...a set amount of time for each person, say one week, 2 weeks, etc. based on the geography of where all the members lived, the shared vehicle would start out on the west or east coast and after the predetermined amount of fun driving, drop off the vehicle to the next person's home that was in line, etc. etc. the car would make its way across the US and then could be sold or kept...maybe we could get some of the $200 back, maybe not, but even if we lost it all, its only $200...would that be worth a week or two of driving a 394? I doubt if you could rent one for as cheap....:)

How would we insure it?

one person whom we would all trust would be the "owner" and would buy the insurance under that person's name, the cost would be covered by all the people who went in, if something should happen the insured "owner" would say that he lent the car to so and so and an accident occurred, the car is covered by 3yr/30,000 mile manufacturer warranty so that wouldn't need to be a worry either....granted, I haven;t thought of all the angles/possibilities but doesn't it sound logical...and tempting

Spoke to a friend who happens to be an independent insurance agent and he said that he doubted if any insurance company would touch it  >:(...so it looks like one could always try the rental car route...if any of them rent SRT8s
