It's also the replacement for the current Stratus sedan.  Wonder what kind of jap-crap two door they'll make out of it.

from what I can tell, its a relative equation as what the Dodge Dakota is, compared to a Dodge Ram.

many similarities, yet different vehicles and different buyers.

if the Dodge Ram is too expensive and/or too big for your needs, you can get a more compact vehicle in the same "award winning" style as the popular big daddy-sized version, by getting a Dakota.

the web site also mentioned marketing the Avenger for the Euro market with a Diesel Turbo motor.    The Charger in Europe would be a VERY LARGE car.  The Avenger would be a bit more realistic in the narrow streets of Europe.

Tundra and Tacoma arent too far different from each other, neither are Sequoia and 4Runner.

The Avenger was a watered-down Stealth RT.  If you look at both closely, you'll see a lot of similarities.  I had a '98 Avenger that I drove for a few years.  I liked it and it looked cool, but was way underpowered.

Why they're putting 2 extra doors on it, I don't know.  Doesn't matter, I guess.  I'll just wait for the new Challenger instead.

Looks like a Caliber front with shrunken Charger body.
