Hi,  ppg code is 2211 and you can use this number is any PPG system. DBC (basecoat), DCC(single stage) or what ever he likes to spray.  Also the duPont number is 5180L.  When you look this up in the computer system(PPG), use Y1.  Leave the "F" off. If you want to use the original color, Go with it.  I've mixed E5(red) and it was perfect to what was on the car orignally.  People tell me all the time that you can't get it perfect, but I've never had a problem yet.  Any questions about the paint, let me know and I'll try to help. See Ya

Hi Loco440,

I am also in Australia, in Sydney.
I work at a pentastar only resto shop ,if your looking for the paint code
in PPG the main phone number is 132424, that is the main office in Victoria,and ask for the paint formula in DELTRON. once you have that you can make it up at any PPG paint supplier.
If you like I could find that formula for you !!!
Deltron is the American brand of PPG paint so the colour formulation are the same as the USA.
PPG in Australia is the old dulux duco brand of paint which PPG USA bought them out and called it PPG.

Banana and Lemon Twist are the same color and paint code. You can see several different FY1 cars at this link;

FY1 is also called Super Yellow on this 1971 paint chip chart;
