70 to 71 Cuda front clip conversion - how painful?
« on: October 19, 2006 - 12:46:01 AM »
I'm thinking of putting a 71 front clip on my 70.  How painful is this?  I'm seeing/anticipating the following:

1)  Different header panel
2)  Turn signal harnesses needs to be lengthened?
3)  What has to be done to go from 2 headlights to four?

Also, how hard is it to change the headlight buckets if I turn 70 fenders into 71?  Are these welded on or bolted on?  I haven't taken a close look.

the headlight buckets need to be changed & THE gills added , the buckets are spot welded , you will need a different front valence
