Folks, Al's a good one.  I bought a REALLY clean '71 newport from him, and it was EXACTLY as described.  I'll put it this way-it's the only car I have that sits in the carport out of the weather.  I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 cars right now.

I PROMISE, I will do my best to do my duty to cc.c and to keep chevy engines in the scrap pile like they are made to be and out of all mopars  :stirpot:

I had a friend, he had a 70 rt challenger vert and put a 454 in it to run at the track....went 12's :roflsmiley: I gave him a 392 hemi for it, a nothing engine went a 11.0's right off the trailer. He is still a dumb Arse to this day and this was back in 1977.

That's a strange friend!  You should have bought the car!

Yeaaahhhh, that's a bit on the tarded side.  Al, you're home now, right?  I can pick that torque plate up tomorrow and bring it up Wednesday if you like.  I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow at 10 am, so that'll kinda cut the day in half.  In fact, Lisa is off that day and could come.

Yeah, I'm home. I should have my cheetah manual reverse valvebody from summit wed. I will hand you the keys to my challenger and you tell me how you like my lil fun street toy I just built.  The goof balls name was brian walls. I wont even capitalize his name. He sold for high dollar but bought for pennies. Always conning someone. That new guy that just posted is what sparked my memory. 16 yr old from oregon and building a 69 chally with a 327 chevy what ever :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:
