Challenger SE Headliner or Template
« on: October 23, 2006 - 11:06:47 AM »
I’m looking for the hard fiberboard the headliner attaches to on SE Challengers along with the sail panels. If you know of one for sale or if I could make arrangements to have one traced out so I could use it to make templates, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
  Billy

Good luck. I searched for months and never found it. I eventually gave up. You might try tony auto parts. He usually can find stuff like that, ( I found out after I had a standard headliner installed.)

I have one left. I sold 5 or 6 this year. It is a complete headliner without console. $500 plus shipping.

Alohaautomotive, thank you for the offer. I wasn’t planning on spending that much for a head liner but, I do understand the rarity of the part. I really could use the money on other parts I need for the car.

How much would you charge me to trace out the headliner and sail panels you have. I will supply you with the paper and the postage and I will gladly pay you for your time and trouble. I will use your outline as a template to make an overhead and sail panels. I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for your time.

The headlinner is made out of a cardboard material.  It is like the material peg boards are made from.  It is press molded like carpeting is.  If you can find a way to make one please let me know.  Thanks.
