Looks pretty solid. A little cancer, but not too bad. Definately doable. Good find and I hope you get it. :2thumbs:

I had a 70 Slant 6 3 speed Challenger.  The gas mileage was the same as a 318.  I guess the higher torque in the 318 made it work less.  Power band for the 6 was right off the starting line.  I could outstart a lot of cars.  I ended up putting a 340 4 speed in it and was much happier.  Let us know what happens.

After finally catching the owner at home today, I found out the car is not for sale. Seems to be some vascilating back and forth. No mention of a dollar amount came up. I do know that he is restoring another car (chevy), so I'll give him some time and check back. I left my info with him and said, "If you ever get the urge, please give me a call." I thought this would be a good time, right after the holidays, but he definitely wouldn't sell today! The owner said there is some sentimentality involved. I can understand that. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks!
