My `69 Barracuda
« on: October 28, 2006 - 03:44:48 PM »
I might as well jump in and get some advice-`69 Barracuda street/strip machine, originally a /6 now has a stock 360 w/ a Weind intake and Holley 750,headers,duals,rebiult 727,shortened 8 3/4 3.23 SG.Body was rusted around quarters, lower fenders, interior floors were gone all replaced with metal, spare tire well was replaced with tub for fuel cell.Six pack hood scoop, fiberglass front bumper, trunk mounted battery, electric fuel pump, frame connectors, two racing buckets, rear seat removed, front discs, aluminum radiator.Car needs a little finish work but overall runs and drives good, paint speaks for itself.  :22yikes:  Engine is very tired so really needs a rebiuld or drop in another one and go criusing or racing. WIW?

If this guys looking for 10,000 then yours is worth at least 15,000

I'd say try selling it for $10,500, maybe more.  My neighbor sold his '74 Gold Duster for like $8,000, so I'd think that a '69 Barracuda would be able to go for more, especially with the condition yours is in.

I never answered this thread because I truly had no idea what kind of price to put on it.  But when you threw out those numbers Torred, I thought, man, I would have been way off.  In my uneducated a-body mind, I was thinking in between 10 and 12K.   :dunno:
