    Pics of the Challenger Super Stock Concept at SEMA

    Here are some pics I found on the Internet today of the Dodge Challenger Super Stock Concept. The car is on display at the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas. What do you think?  :2thumbs:

    Here is a link of the Challenger driving down the parking lot. The car sounds good!  :ylsuper: It’s the new 392 HEMI. The paint scheme is to commemorate the Sox and Martin days.  Enjoy!

    I was there for the unveiling. Very nice. Foose was there and said that he is stuffing one of those 392 in the 72 Challenger he is Overhaulin at the show this week. There are a s%&t load of mopars down here that are absolutely awesome. I got a copy of the 2007 Mopar catalog which has resoration parts in it. They said the catalogs were printed last week, soo hot off the press. Mopar is releasing a 6 pack setup for the 426 hemi, unbelievable looks awesome. I would post pictures but I don't have my photo editing software with me and the files are way too large sorry. I also talked to Goodmark and they said the 'cuda sheet metal should be out early to mid next year. Also floor pans should be out by Christmas. It looks like I may be becoming a dealer for Goodmark and Legendary interiors, which will be awesome. I talked to XV motorsports and saw their stuff, looking great. Soo much to talk about at the show. The 2 hemi cudas from the current Mopar Collectors Guide issue are on display. My brain is in overload right now. So I'll post more later.

    I don't know what it is about the car, but personally I don't like the looks of it. Maybe its the stance or maybe its just too pudgy looking - I'm not sure.

    I feel the same way.  What did they do to the front end, it is now real pointy, makes it look like the new Camaro.

    Pudgy is a word that comes to my mind.  :grinyes:

    Sorry, it looks like something from the movie Cars, although this set up makes it look very retro.

     I think it might look good with a actual bumper. seems like they could add one over the front and back fascia while keeping the impact bumper behind the fascia. Its like the problem I have with all new cars,everthing is painted no chrome anywhere

    I am not a big drag race expert but shouldn't it at least have a rear view mirror so you can keep an eye on the mustang behind you?

    Looks wrong. Its somebodies rendering or mock-up, not an actual car that runs fast. Loose the chin piece, its not a road race car. The front rims are too narrow for the tires used and makes it look pudgy, and the rear tires are just too small. If you can't go any wider, at least go a little taller. Why does it need such a big hood scoop for only 6.1L? The scoop takes away from the rest of the car its so big. The 70's Cuda's with a 426 hemi came with the shaker hood scoop thats about 1/2 that size. And the stance is off. Why do fast cars look fast when they are just sitting still? Its because the stance that allows them to be fast looks fast when its right.

    Besides, are you gonna build a consistant SS car with an independent rear suspension? :puke: I think not. Anyone got pics of the under side of that car?
