wheel stud diameters???

Car is still in the body shop. I am ordering two new cragar mags for rear and need lug nuts.....what size are studs-7/16 or 1/2"??? I know I need rh and lh threads as it is a 70. (70-318-10" drums-had 7 1/4 now 8 3/4 diff)This will save me a trip-thanks

1/2x20.  70 i believe is a LH thread on the drivers and RH thread on the pass. However, make sure that diff you swapped is in fact a 1970 before going through with that...

Why not go with aftermarket 3 inch long 1/2" 20 wheel studs?  If your studs aren't sticking into the head of the lugnut at least 1/2" you might have strength issues because some of those Cragers are pretty thick.

If you don't like the way open lugnuts look you can always cut down the studs a bit but you don't want studs that are too short
