..."El HEMI"....the HEMI Challenger with the Venezuela license plates is a local New Castle, Indiana car owned by a friend of mine, Juan Escalante....it has a most interesting history....bought by a guy in Detroit, shipped to Venezuela when he worked for Chrysler there and raced so much it acquired the name "El HEMI", shipped back to the USA about 10 years ago by his sons and restored in the last few years....it is still a one family owner car as the original owner passed away just before the car was finished....
...the car is driven on the streets locally quite often and will soon retire from the show circuit to what is was always meant to be...A STREET STORMER of the highest caliber....
...nice family, beautiful car, great story...it has it all
ps....it also sometimes wears a T/A hood that was given to the original owner by a friend of his in Chrysler styling.....the hood is the " PROTOTYPE " hood used on the original T/A styling car....it is somewhat different than the regular hoods....all in all, an amazing HEMI Challenger and a most unusual piece of MOPAR history...
