Automatic to Manual Conversion
« on: November 06, 2006 - 04:21:25 PM »
I'm thinking about taking out my auto trani (727 I think) and putting a 4-speed manual in.  Has anyone done this?  Can some tell me breifly if it's difficult or pretty easy to do, just time consuming?

Thanks!

Bob

I have done 3 this year , it take about 24 hrs of work to do the swap with all the parts sitting there only the tunnel & Zbar pivot bracket need to be welded everything else is a bolt in job
be careful cutting the floor for the tunnel all you want to cut is the sheet metal not the tranny crossmember
