69 Cuda Formula S 340 Matching numbers 4 speed Red/Red
« on: November 07, 2006 - 07:59:21 PM »
Just picked up this 1969 Barracuda and was wanting to get some opinions on what the cars value may be? Here is a description:
340, 4 speed, all matching #'s. No body damage, some rust, but not bad. Majority of rust is found on 1/4's behind rear wheels. Small amount on top of front fenders and front inner fender panels. Trunk is great as are torsion boxes. Floor has several small areas. No bondo, what you see is what you get. Glass is all good. Car is complete, all parts accounted for. Clear title, fender tag. 340 is dissassembled, has very little wear, 60 K on speedo is assumed to be correct. Red exterior/ Red interior. Disc brakes, even has original shifter knob! Been stored inside for many years. Untouched & original. Any guesstimates???

Would make an easy project for someone with the know how.

It looks like 9,500-11,500 from what I'd expect the market to be.  Any fastback Barracuda can bring $6,000+, so an original 340/4-speed Formula S should go for around $3,500-$5,000 more than that.
