Welcome to the forum!  You found a really nice car to re-do.  Nowadays most everything you see is rusted out shells for $15K.  :dunno:  Glad you found us and I look forward to watching your progress.

Cool ride Robert and a great find. You didn't buy it on Ebay by any chance did you? Looks like one I saw on there recently but I could be wrong. Great color and engine combo  Joe

You've got a good memory!  I saw it a while back on eBay, didn't reach the reserve, then noticed it being re-listed a couple of weeks ago.  Emailed the seller, asked if I could come by to see it before the close of the second auction and they sent back a time & place.

I went to see it (hour away) and after verifying the numbers matching and overall condition of the car, decided that it was what I was looking for.

I put my bid in before the auction closed, but I didn't hit the reserve.  I emailed the seller again, said I was really interested in buying the car & she let me know what she wanted for it.  Worked out the $$, then drove down there today & drove it home.  Only disapointment so far has been the build-sheet: she isn't really up on the Mopar stuff and she did have a build sheet, just not the one for the car I just bought......I know, should have asked to see it when I went to see the car, but she was tough to deal with & was really cagey at first.  I'll be forwarding the info on the build sheet they found - it's for a 383 Mag 4sp Challenger, haven't spent enough time on it to decipher color yet - I've gotta get started on my car!

Hey Robert,
Do some searching on this site, one of the members (Alaskan_TA) has a ton of build sheets that he will give to the owners if they have the car.

Great find.  :2thumbs:
