C'mon Ross.  All you need is a pair of 70's shoes and a pick fuzzy hat and all the girls will be all around you...of course, they would be "working" girls... ::)

not very tactful lemon  >:(

i made a decision that i stand by.  there were 3 cars i was considering.  a 68 charger, 65-67 vette and the 70 challenger.  i quickly ruled out the charger as owning two didnt make a whole lot of sense.  got excited about challengers but 2 things hit me a little later.  one being that i was afraid that owning and driving a challenger would really be like owning and driving a smaller charger and i really wanted to try something new and different.  two being that there are two cars that had a huge impact on me when i was a kid.  i attribute my interest in cars today to these two cars.  one being the general lee that i grew attached to at a very early age.  the other being my fathers 65 corvette that he had since i was 4.  before i even understood the concept of cars i knew these 2 cars were good and i had to own them someday.  so like i said, i made a decision that i stand by and thats just that.  i love challengers to death and hope to still own one someday, but this just made more sense to me.  hope you others can understand that.

Are you going to make any mods to it or are you going to keep it original?  I know you and your dad could do some pretty wild stuff with it.

Ross, sounds like you've purchased another nice ride.  I understand your reasoning with the Mopars you were thinking about, and how it's good to drive something different now and then.  You've chosen a nice ride: I like the older 'Vettes... :P  My next ride after my Challenger is fixed up to my liking is a CBR954RR crotch rocket.....Yeah, I know it's a Honda, but it's in a class that Honda should've stuck with...and not go into the car scene with their P.O.S. Ricers.... ;) ;D ;D  I'll have to check out the pictures wherever they're at.  ;)

Laura,
No mods in the forseeable future, least nothing big.  Ross Sr has decided that anything under 800 horsepower isnt good enough so hes working on a Indy car deal.  so we both have new toys coming, some more practical then others, but lots of fun regardless.

Street,
if i didnt still live at home i would have had a cbr long ago.  those things look like so much fun.  gotta have one.  soon as i move out ill be getting either a cbg or a gsxr.  too cool.  if you did want to see pics they are now at http://www.69chargerrt.com/corvette
