I can't see this going down either, but as far as GM may be concerned it would be a smart move if they could pull it off. On the other hand does this kind of news really surprise anyone. Look over the production situation/models over the past say 10 years. Aside from the truck and "van" line what else have they offered to the average US family? A guy with a wife and three kids ain't buying Prowlers or Vipers, the Charger perse could be considered a decent car (with another name for petes sake) but it is priced in the same bracket as the M and C models of Chryslers. The mid size line are all alike except nameplates, the new Challenger will be affordable by only a few comparitively speaking. And oh yeah, look at that new pos possibility they are going to call Demon, yep every family in American will want a $40,000.00 two seater. Dr.Z needs to be fired, instead haveing the authority to layoff 13,000 workers!
