data tag decode
« on: November 29, 2006 - 08:35:54 AM »
Looking at buying a cuda. I'm new to Plymouths. I have restored 2 1970 Mustangs and I'm looking to do a cuda next.
Can somebody decode these 1973 data tags for me?

thanks in advance
Bruce :newbie:

Really hard to say without seeing a pic of the car....a rusty 73/318 car wouldn't fetch much money IMO...If it is a real BS23G3 car, then I would have to say thats a little rare, but I still don't know how much without seeing pics.

some little corrections:
J54 = Sport Hood
HB1 = Blue Sky ("Light Blue" was Dodge only) :angelwings:

btw:
L31 = Fender Mounted Turn Signal
G27 = never heard or seen : Barry please help :dunno:
318 (150 HP) engines were standard on Cudas in '73
In 1973 only 1832 Cudas with automatic and 318 were built

My bet is that G27 is actually G37 - Chrome racing mirrors with drivers side remote.
