Yeah, as a matter of fact, it's still in the plastic bag in the box! :wow:  Gary, I had to go to Arizona on an unexpected trip and won't be home until late tonite so it will be Thursday before I can get the shipping total.

Guess you guys did not read the ad well enough - it is new in the box :)

I said wouldve, because I didnt bid.  I did read the ad.  I wouldve bid more than $85.  Sorry for the weird wording.  Heck of a deal anyways

Okay so now I've got the intake and am wondering which carb I should use with it on my 72 400 RR Clone.

Any suggestions?

The car is stock now with single exhaust but I plan on installing the intake & carb shortly along with adding dual exhaust at around the same time. Obvioulsy I want some extra punch but don't really plan on running it at the track or anything.  The car is my daily driver and as such I'll need a choke on the carb..

I would suggest checking out the new Holley Street Avenger series. Vac. secondries, and an electric choke. They look purdy too.

Mike or anyone else for that matter,

What size?  670 or 770?  May do it this weekend - if it ever warms up!   :villagers:  Dagum Al Gore's "Global Warming" actually brought us SNOW the past couple of days  :stirpot:

If it is stock an you do not plan on ever racing it, then I would go with the 670.  It may also get better mpg if it is a daily driver.

I agree with MEK and jacksboys, the Holley Avenger would be a great carb to go with that manifold, and if you're not looking at track time the 670 would make a great street carb with great drivability.

Some people on Moparts highly recommended getting a TQ.  what do you think abouut going that route?  I can get a factory rebult unit for right around $200.00.  A couple of people also commented that these even get better gas mileage versus a Holley.  Is that true or another Mopar Urban Legend?
