70 S6 to 440...body mods?
« on: December 01, 2006 - 08:10:25 PM »
I guess I'll post this here...I'm not sure what the right forum is...

I have a B5 blue ext./ black interior, slant 6, bucket/console Chally.  It's now at Auto Rust Tech. for a trunk floor, both floors, frame connectors, torque boxes and window frame repair.  When it gets back....I'll have to figure out what the heck to make it look like. whats your style preference???

I really like the snorkel on the T/As...as well as the side exhaust.  Are there good glass aftermarket snorkel hoods?  Is there steel snorkel conversion for my flat steel hood?  What do you think?

Any ideas on mods?  filling in the antenna hole? that sort of thing?  I'm keeping the match # S6 motor...don't ask me why...maybe someday someone will pull the 440 for the S6?  lol

beautiful scoop....but pricey.   but if I balance that against a full fiberglass hood...its a wash.  I have the steel flat hood.
I'm just a HS shop program...so I have to watch costs.....

A used Magnum hood will probably be the cheapest thing.  You might find a used aftermarket T/A hood somewhere.

What the heck?!?  It was there last time I looked!  Year One has them, the part # is LH1004.
