Spring, now it sounds like your slacking off!  How cold is it over there this time of year?  We finally got the cold weather here, but I took advantage of 60s in late nov!  I just got an email today, so looks like the 70 u-code rt I'm doing for a friend will be arriving soon.  Pretty rare car and solid CA car, so looking foward to working on it!

I only ever blasted one entire car before, I even did the complete inside, a 69 runner... sand sure gets everywhere!  I had the car on all angles on the rotisserre and used high pressure air to clean out all I could.  It had mouse nests and such in the rail, thats why the rear few spots went though.  Thats gotta suck that happened now!

I'm not slacking off  :angelwings: . Got the rest of the sheet metal welded back in couple of weeks ago. I have just been too busy. I'll get back to the car in two weeks. I'll post some pics of my progress when I have time.

Weather is very warm right now, it should be freezing but the weather has been very odd for the whole year. We have had like +5 celcius for long time and seems that it isn't getting colder for some time so this would be perfect weather for body work but  :horse: .

I was checking one nearby challenger for the shape of the quarter vs roof (at the c pillar) because mine was busted there and I didn't have any visible shape left. The owner invited me for test drive of that car next summer  :bananasmi
and I also sitted in the challenger for the first time in my life! (452 stroker and suspension which can handle corners very hard, so should be fun to drive)

Keep the pics coming, those are great motivation!

Yeah, has been some odd weather, but if your like us, the cold will be there soon!  Last week this time it was 60 degrees here, not sure if its much over 30 now and I'm freezing!  Thats why I'm still playing on the net, but need to find some welder parts, screwed mine up, guess it needed a break, cause its been worked hard lately :roflsmiley:  I'm really leaning towards more cornering on mine, something very street friendly, as much as I love straight line performance, I think I'd have more fun with a cornering car.

No new pics yet, but starting working in the engine bay area, had a few patches, and now getting it all smoothed out.  I also fixed the drip rail are in the trunk, had some rust through on the top edges.  However I got an email that the one I'm doing for someone else is finally on its way.  So I'll probally get this back to a roller and progress will be alot slower.  Wonder if I can get two done for Carlisle :clueless:

Well, looks like I'll be putting this resto on hold in a few weeks.  So hope to do the floor pans and trunk floor, expoxy and paint the underside... probally susp for the rear.  New pics in a few days, family from all over the country in town and get togethers... bday is monday, but new parts are on the way!  Reason its going on hold is the 70 rt 440 challenger showed today and it gets done first.  I may sgtart a new thread for it... up to the owner, hes a good friend, but its his call.
