1970 Challenger R/T S/E
« on: December 16, 2006 - 05:03:03 PM »
Sorry do not have any pictures yet.

What would this complete 70 R/T S/E FE5 be worth?

Car runs and drives.

Paint is faded, bumpers need to be re-chromed

Does not have # matching engine.  Currently has a rebuilt 413 engine in it. Does have a date code correct 383 that goes with it.

Automatic (Rebuilt) with 323 Posi.

Body is fairly solid with small rust on the front side of the drivers quarter, trunk pan is pitted with a some pin holes.

Has body tag that matches the vin on the dash.  Do not know if it has a build sheet or not.

Interior is nice and complete.  Has overhead console and rally dash, all guages working.

Non-AC car.

Has Go-Wing on back

Has new 3" flow master exhaust with tips though tail pan
Has new factory style wheels from wheels vintique
Has new wheel well trim moldings (not on the car)
Has new package tray )not on the car)

Body Tag as follows:
R11  V1X  V5X  Y14 END
W21  W31  N41  N42  N85
C62  G31  G33 H31 J25  J54
V1X  A01  A62  C16  C26  C55
FE5  HR9X  000 317  076420
EG3  D32  JS29 N0E XXXXXX

So what should this car bring?

What is a 413 worth is it should be put up for sale?

Thanks

It's tough to give a figure without pics, but my broad guess is 12-15K.

It probably won't have a broadcast sheet since it was built in la plant.  Sounds like a good car!  I don't know what it's worth because I am an old man and dont see eye to eye on todays prices :2thumbs:

Seems like a good resto candidate. I'm with Mike on this one.

Not worth 18K.  :nono:

12K to 14K max.

I see the car is in Oregon.  I'm near Portland....let me know if I can help in anyway.  Are you in Oregon?  I have a '70 RT/SE that you could drive it right now and take it to a show.  There are somethings that need to be done, but it's 10 times the car that one is for not much more money.  Not sure it's even for sale, but I need to get some garage space back... so somethings got to go.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Hi CODY, I live in Topeka, KS.  So tell me about your car, maybe you could interest me. Either send me an email with pics or call me me at 785.862.4709 tomorrow.  Thanks
