these ridges/bumps are sometimes caused by the pressure of the hinges on the hood...I think I have seen what you are talking about several times thru the years.....answer.....there should be no markings/ridges etc etc visible in the area where the hinges attach to the hood...it should be flat

If I take a photo of the area can you edit it with a circle or line or something for the area you are talking about?  :dunno:

OK I took a couple on my lunch break. It is kinda hard to see but hopefully some one will be able to tell if they are supposed to be there of not. I would also welcome any opintions if it is a "real Mopar" or not I know the pictures don't show the whole hood very well but I was not thinking about that much at the time.
Thanks
Jeff

Those look like old repairs.

It looks like the hood has the right style cowl screen, if you can get photos of the underside including side shots of the side edges I can tell you if it is an original hood or not.

So far it looks like the real deal. Fiberglass can crack, so repairs are sometimes necessary.

Someone probably forgot to pin it.  That was the death of many T/A AAR hoods.
