    unisteer performance parts

    A while back I saw an article in MCG. about a direct bolt on rack and pinion for e-bodies from Unisteer Performance Parts. Has anybody here used one of these yet and is it really "bolt on"?

    Just Suspensions had that setup listed in their back cover ad in Mopar Muscle Magazine for one month and then it wasn't in the ad anymore. I checked Just Suspensions website and couldn't find any info on it there. I don't know whats up with them, but I'm interested in finding out more about it too! :clueless:

    I've e-mailed Unisteer, and they do offer this kit in black powder coat, I'm awaiting a reply to see if the cost is less. Normally it's chrome. I also asked the ratio of the rack.
    For me my options are the Firm Feel setup with new box, idler arms, and tie rod ends vs teh Unisteer kit. If the non chrom price is close to 1k then It will be worth re considering assuming the ratio is = or better.
